Often during orthodontic treatment, we notice that due to lack of immaculate home care and plaque remaining on the teeth and around the hardware, the gums start to get puffy and swollen and white spots can develop on the teeth. The team will recommend products as needed. We use a few different products here and they are available for purchase at the office.

1.  Prevident 5000 OrthoDefense, an excellent product for anyone wearing braces or using aligners. When prescribed, we recommend using this instead of regular toothpaste.

2. PlaqHD - A plaque disclosing toothpaste! Brushing with this will stain remaining plaque on the teeth green, such that it is easier to see and remove. Helps with better home care and effective plaque removal
